IN CONNECTION WITH THE WELL-BEING OF YOUR EYES

Since childhood, I have been living with glaucoma. I am currently compiling my story into a book. In it you will be able to read how to contribute to the health of your eyes and get inspiration for an overall and holistic lifestyle.

Below I like to share two fine ways to contribute to the well-being of your eyes.

1) Yoga

Yoga can improve both your physical and mental health. There are also special exercises to relax your eyes and improve your eye health. You can get started at home with the document below. Be sure to contact me for more customized (yoga) advice!

2) Water

It got me thinking about whether I drink enough water during the day. That may be six to eight glasses daily. It also creates awareness of the importance of water.

Some examples are: contribution to healthy skin, clear mind, more peace of mind, boosts immunity. (Be careful with glaucoma: don’t drink much more water than one to one and a half liters a day, as it can in turn increase pressure on the eyes!) What has helped me is putting a chart on my desk where I can check off the glasses.
